Growing up as a child, Troydel found a passion for drawing. This passion developed into a skill that stood out among his peers further shaping his perspective of what his future career would become.
A trained Designer and Illustrator at the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing arts, Troydel has been exposed to numerous creative fields. Versatile in both traditional and digital medium. His passion for drawing reflected in the works he produces.
The current series of artworks are a semi abstract representation of human social behaviour and values. What do people consider priority? What do they cherish more? These concepts were forged from visualizing the true desires of the people he interact with (what is the motivation behind every person's ambitions?)
The series focuses on creating a style of illustration that the artist considers an extension of his own personal experiences and observation through the people he interacts with. These interactions both positive and negative help mould the gold aesthetics that is shown in his work. Troydel wishes to explore further concepts with this new style in his future art pieces.
