Kingston on the Edge - KOTE

KOTE is an annual ten-day, multi-venue non-profit summer studio and performing arts festival that supports and promotes positive creative energy in Kingston through artistic exchange and community involvement.

For 2016 KOTE looked at the contextual relationships in art and the link between cause & effect.  Some of the examples of connections explored were: diversity and artistic exchanges within our society through multicultural influences, migration and links to the Diaspora, as well as, the relationship between Jamaica and its neighbors.  But these are just a few of the many possible perspectives on connections.  Everyone was encouraged to define the term as they see, hear or feel it.
